I initially didn’t want to have maternity photos, but I caved when I asked Dawn and Matt of Peach and Oak Photography to do our First 48.

We decided to do our photos in our house because I love a good lifestyle photoshoot. It’s so much more natural! Plus, we did a photoshoot when we first bought our house. So it was only fitting to have updated photos two years later. Except this time I had a big ‘ol belly!

I chose this dress from Pink Blush which was perfect because it was printed (a god-send) with rose florals. I also loved the off the shoulder look to hide my arms. 🙂

While I can’t say I particularly enjoyed pregnancy, I did enjoy feeling Rosie’s little kicks and jabs as she partied it up in my belly. It was also such a fun time for hubs and me! It brought us even closer together and added more strength to our relationship. I love that when I look back on them I remember those joyous things. My favorite memories are of hubs taking care of me and all of our conversations about what she’s going to look like and what it’s going to be like once she’s here. Tyler was so caring and wonderful throughout the whole pregnancy and I love seeing that in these photos.

Thanks for reading and following along on this journey with us!
